Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps in Hungary: Q2 2023 Performance

In the second quarter of 2023, Hungary saw notable trends in the performance of the top five navigation and maps applications on a unified platform. Data from Sensor Tower reveals insights into downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for these leading apps.

Google Maps Go experienced a steady increase in downloads throughout the quarter, starting from 5.4K in late March and peaking at approximately 12.5K by the end of June. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 360K to 370K, ending the quarter at 373K.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic also showed a positive trend in downloads, beginning at 5.5K and reaching nearly 8.7K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users displayed a consistent upward trend, growing from 256K to 302K over the quarter.

Google Earth had a relatively stable number of downloads, fluctuating between 1.8K and 3K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users for the app showed minor variations, maintaining a range between 17K and 21K.

GPS, Maps, Voice Navigation from AppStar Studios saw a notable increase in downloads, starting at 1.1K in late March and rising to around 2.6K by the end of June. Revenue for the app varied, with peaks at $67 in late March and $25 in mid-June. Weekly active users exhibited significant growth, beginning at 2.9K and escalating to approximately 6.2K by the end of the quarter.

Radarbot Speed Camera Detector demonstrated a fluctuating download pattern, peaking at 2.9K in early May and then stabilizing around 1K towards the end of June. Revenue consistently increased, reaching $519 in the last week of June. Weekly active users showed similar fluctuations, from 2.8K at the start of the quarter to 2.9K by the end.
